Charleston Community Band - Carolina Day - Stars and Strips Forever
Charleston Community Band performed for the Carolina Day Ceremony at the Battery in Charleston, SC. The Carolina Day celebrated every June 28th in honor of Ft. Sullivan's (Ft. Moultrie) victory over the British in 1775. A major turning point in the Revolutionary War. Wreaths were place at General Moultrie's statue by The Charleston Historical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Sons of the American Revolution. The program was concluded with Stars and Stripes Forever, played by the Charleston Community Band.
